POWER SUPPLY AND LUMINAIRE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply that maximizes an effect of improving the life of the organic EL element by applying a proper voltage and current to an organic EL element in a reverse direction for proper time.

SOLUTION: The organic EL element 3 is connected to a DC power supply via a full bridge circuit, and a constant voltage element ZD for setting a reverse voltage applied to the organic EL element 3 and/or a current-limiting element R2 for setting the reverse current applied to the organic EL element 3 are connected in series with at least one of the two switching elements Q1 and Q4 that are reverse with respect to the organic EL element 3 among four switching elements Q1 to Q4 composing the full bridge circuit.
