<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic body by which moisture can more effectively be prevented from infiltrating into gaps between a conductor and the ceramic body in the ceramic body including the conductor thereinside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ceramic laminate 10 having left-side end surfaces of internal electrode layers 11a, 11c and 11e not exposed on a left-side surface of the ceramic laminate 10 and also having right-side end surfaces of the internal electrodes 11a, 11c and 11e exposed on a right-side surface of the ceramic laminate 10 is dipped in a liquid 104 containing oxide sol, an opposite electrode 102 is disposed at a distance from the left-side surface of the ceramic laminate 10, and an electric field is applied between the opposite electrode 102 and internal electrode layers 11a, 11c and 11e to infiltrate the oxide sol into the gaps in regions 10g, 10h and 10i between the internal electrode layers 11a, 11c and 11e and the left-side surface of the ceramic laminate 10.
