PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary induction electrical apparatus which reduces the loss caused by local temperature elevation on an iron core fastening metal or tank wall inner surface and is economical. SOLUTION: In the stationary induction electrical apparatus is housed within a tank 1, while comprising a winding wire 5, an iron core 2 including a leg 3A and a yoke 3B, a fastening metal 4 having the U-shaped cross and integrating the yoke 3B by fastening it from both sides, and a non-magnetic shield 6 on a surface of the fastening metal 4, opposed to an end face of the winding wire 5, on the surface of the fastening metal 4 opposite to the winding wire, a magnetic shield 7, having magneto-resistance smaller than that of the fastening metal 4, is disposed so as to extend in the length direction of the fastening metal 4.
