PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor provided with a soundproof device comprising a soundproof material having excellent sound insulation properties and satisfactory work efficiency in wrapping around the compressor and reducing cost. SOLUTION: The soundproof device of the compressor 10 is composed of the soundproof material 15 of a multilayer construction which comprises a rubber layer having reclaimed rubber and high density rubber bonded to each other and a felt layer bonded to the rubber layer, and is wrapped around the outer periphery.
