PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detecting circuit which securely detects excess current flowing in a load without complicating a circuit structure in a differential voltage circuit and without enlarging a circuit area. SOLUTION: The current detecting circuit includes an input circuit which is connected to a current detection node of a circuit being an object of current detection and outputs a minus current flowing in the circuit as a plus voltage and the differential voltage circuit comparing the plus voltage output from the input circuit with the reference voltage and outputting a comparison result as a current detection signal.
