PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with conventional headphones that an audio image is localized inside the head. SOLUTION: By arranging one side surface of the driver unit 1 in contact with an inner front surface portion of a housing 3, a space which interferes with an opposite phase sound at a front portion of the inside of the housing, is suppressed. By providing a space which interferes with a sound behind and around a diaphragm 2, an interference space at an inner back portion of the housing is increased to provide a structure in which the opposite phase sound is emphasized and interfered with at the inner back of the housing. As a result, provided is a headphone in which a biased degree of interference of the opposite phase sound occurs in the front-to-back direction inside the housing, whereby the auditory function of recognizing the direction of sound allows the user to feel that the audio image is localized in front of the head.
