PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the decontamination characteristics of removing radioactive substances related to a radioactive substance transportation-storage container and reduce the quantity of wastes. SOLUTION: The radioactive substance transportation-storage container keeps a container 1, having a container side plate 4 and container bottom plate 3 having a specified radiation shielding properties, equipped with an integrally-structured metal lining 7 of an open-top box shape installed inside with a clearance to the container side plate 4; an integrally-structured sheathing means 9 of an open-top box shape installed outside similarly with a clearance to the container side plate 4; sealing welds 13 formed between the individual top ends of the metal lining 7 and the sheathing means 9 and the container side plate 4; and a lid 2, having a specified radiation shielding property and covering the top of the container side plate 4, all of which are provided to the container.
