Disclosed is a base station device which has a high versatility and a high power efficiency and is provided with a UPS function. The base station device has a wireless communication section which receives power supply via a first route or a second route. The first route includes a circuit, which converts AC input from a commercial power supply into DC output, and a first DC voltage conversion circuit for the first wireless communication section, i.e., the circuit that converts the voltage of the DC output to be applicable to the wireless communication section and then supplies the voltage-converted DC output. The second route includes a DC voltage conversion circuit for an auxiliary power supply, i.e., the circuit which converts the voltage of the DC output which has been supplied from the AC/DC conversion circuit to be applicable to the auxiliary power supply and then supplies the voltage-converted DC output, and a second DC voltage conversion circuit for the wireless communication section, i.e., the circuit which converts the voltage of the DC output which has been supplied from the auxiliary power supply to be applicable to the wireless communication section and then supplies the voltage-converted DC output. |
