PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical image forming system that has comparatively satisfactory optical performance by means of only one group lens and that is small in size and variable in field angle. SOLUTION: A zoom lens system ZL has an imaging lens G1 formed from the one group of a solid lens L1, and a variable stop S disposed close to the imaging lens G1, the imaging lens G1 being configured so as to be movable together with the variable stop S along an optical axis. The imaging lens G1 has a positive spherical aberration that increases as it moves away from the optical axis. The diameter of the variable stop S increases as a distance from the imaging lens G1 to an image surface I increases by the movement of the imaging lens G1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
