PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a ball screw shaft which enables a compact design at low costs and improves its durability and reliability. SOLUTION: A shoulder part 19 and a fitting part 13 in which a supporting bearing 10 is press-fitted is formed on both ends of a screw shaft 7, and the supporting bearing 10 includes an outer ring 15, and an inner ring 17 internally fitted to the outer ring 15 through a plurality of balls 16 and having a thickness thicker than the outer ring 15. An outside diameter of a coupling 20 is almost equal to an outside diameter of the inner ring 17, and the coupling 20 is annularly formed, and a cylindrical fitting surface 21 press-fitted to the fitting part 13 of the shaft screw 7 and a fitting recession 22 externally fitted to a motor shaft 6 are formed on an inner periphery. The coupling 20 is press-fitted to the fitting part 13 of the screw shaft 7 until an end face 20b of the coupling 20 comes into close contact with an end face 17b of the inner ring 17, and the inner ring 17 is fixed in the axial direction in the state of being fastened by the shoulder part 19 and the coupling 20.
