PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pitch changing method for an existing seat, which can change a front-and-rear seat space between existing seats easily without imposing a load on the existing structure. SOLUTION: The seat pitch of a newly provided seat 3 is set with a pitch greater than that of the stair floor of the existing stair floor 1 without corresponding one-to-one to the pitch of the stain floor of the existing stair floor 1, and the newly provided seats 3 are arranged to be gradually displaced on the existing stair floor. A seat having a leg is arranged on the existing stair floor 1 in a place where the newly provided seat 3 can not be directly attached on the existing stair floor 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
