<p>The present invention provides molecular mechanism leading to the development of cancers associated with hedgehog signaling pathway. These cancers may develop as a result of a chronic bacterial or a chronic viral infection. The present invention provides methods for early detection of such cancers. Additionally, it also provides measures that can be taken to prevent or treat such cancers.</p> |
