A screw reactor (1) comprises multiple separately controllable heating zones (2a,2b,2c,2d,2e). Inlets (7a,7b,7c,7d,7e) in lower part of the reactor are also designed for supplying inert gases and for defining supply of reaction gas for investigation of some autothermal and autothermal reactions. A sealed product feeding screw conveyor (8), a water sluice (9) and an experimental combustion chamber (10) are also provided in the screw reactor.
