The element has a support section for supporting at retaining arms (12, 14) of a retraction system (10). A restraining section supports two restraining projections to restrain tissue (122). The projections are concentrically formed at a longitudinal axis defined by the retraining section. The projections extend over a part of an outer periphery of the restraining section. The support section is connected to a proximal side of the restraining section. An actuating element i.e. knob, actuates and/or moves the element.
