<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination unit capable of preventing an unnecessary short circuit caused by moisture generated inside the illuminating unit. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination unit includes a plurality of light sources having light emitting elements, and a long-sized support body with the light sources arranged along a longitudinal direction.
