PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nanowire light sensor using such a phenomenon that the resistance of the nanowire is reduced by light of a specific wavelength; a rapid test kit for immunoassay using the nanowire light sensor and an immunoassay principle using chemifluorescence and chemiluminescence; and a nanowire protein chip and a gene chip using the nanowire light sensor in a micro array form as a method for detecting chemifluorescence and chemiluminescence. SOLUTION: A nanowire light sensor includes: a nonconducting substrate; two conductive metal thin films; and a semiconductor nanowire connected to the two electrodes and formed of a conductive material. The semiconductor nanowire is one nanometer to 100 nanometers in diameter, and the length of the nanowire is longer than a distance between the two electrodes. The nanowire is formed of such a material that electric resistance is reduced by light excited at a particular wavelength. The nanowire has a tubular shape from which the center portion has been removed, so that a light sensitivity bandgap is controlled into a desired range.
