PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure vessel for avoiding the defect of a hinge part, caused by welding strain, even when connecting a cover body to the hinge part with welding. SOLUTION: The pressure vessel includes a can body having an opening part, the cover body for closing the opening part of the can body, the hinge part 42 for opening/closing the cover body, and a hinge arm 40 fixed at its front end to the cover body and connected at its base end 40b to the hinge part 42. The hinge part 42 includes: a base 45 fixed to the outer wall face or the floor face of the can body; a supporting shaft 44 inserted at both ends into two supporting holes 54, 54 of the base 45 and held non-rotatable relative to the base 45; hinge adjusting means for adjusting the positions of both ends of the supporting shaft 44 in the two supporting holes 54, 54, respectively; and a gripping part 48 provided at the base end 40b of the hinge arm 40 for gripping the supporting shaft 44 so as to be turnable relative to the supporting shaft 44.
