PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding torch capable of being held by a worker grasping a handle without trouble even in a case of high welding current and high use rate by suppressing transmission of arc heat of arc generated between an electrode and a base material to the handle from the electrode through a torch body. SOLUTION: The welding torch includes: a collet for supporting the electrode; a collet body for supporting the collet by contacting with it; the torch body composed of a metal member that supports the collet body by contacting with it, a metal pipe for supplying shield gas to the metal member, and an insulating member surrounding the metal member and the metal pipe; and the handle connected with the torch body.
