<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product for a vehicle with a lighting system integrally forming a part capable of transmitting light emitted from the lighting system, to secure prescribed strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The molded product for the vehicle with the lighting system includes a panel-shaped trim body 3 made of resin, and the lighting system L installed on a rear face side of the trim body 3. The trim body 3 integrally has a light transmitting part 31 for transmitting light emitted from the lighting system L and a light non-transmitting part 32 for preventing light emitted from the lighting system L from being transmitted. The light transmitting part 31 is formed by expanding thermoplastic resin R by enlarging a cavity space by retreating a molding mold 130 in a mold opening direction in a process in which the thermoplastic resin R injected into a cavity 131 of the molding mold 130 is solidified.
