A jig for measuring internal dimensions is configured in such a manner that a slidable section is mounted to one side of a projection member which makes contact with an object when measuring the internal dimensions thereof and that a measuring tape is mounted between the slidable section and the projection member. The jig configured as described above is contained in a containing section of a measuring tape case body to integrate the jig and the case body together. In a measuring operation, the jig is taken out of and inserted in the containing section. The jig is configured so as to be conveniently contained, stowed, and carried without affecting measuring operations of internal and external diameters.
