PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide audio file processing technology which has high convenience for a user such as a disc jockey (DJ), and technology for playing back an audio file which is processed by the audio file processing technology.

SOLUTION: An audio file processing method includes: a waveform creating step of creating a waveform data of an audio data included in the audio file; an image creating step of creating a user interface image including the waveform data; a user designation processing step of receiving a section or a position of the waveform data designated by a user, via the created user interface; and a tag information processing step of storing the created waveform data and the received user designation information, as tag information of the audio file.
