PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run flat tire for reducing rolling resistance. SOLUTION: This run flat tire is provided by arranging reinforcing rubber inside in the tire width direction of a carcass in a side part of the tire, by arranging a belt having an inclined belt layer of at least one layer and a tread in order outside in the tire radial direction of a crown part of the carcass with the carcass straddling in a toroidal shape between a pair of bead parts as a skeleton. In a cross section in the tire width direction in a state of installing the tire in the application rim, the ratio BD/BW of a radial difference BD between a central part in the width direction of the outermost side layer and an end part in the width direction to a width BW of the outermost side layer of the inclined belt layer, is set to 0.01-0.05.
