PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric pressure cation-dyeable polyester multifilament which uses a recycled polymer prepared by depolymerizing polyester wastes to a raw material monomer and then repolymerizing the monomer, can be dyed with cationic dyes at the atmospheric pressure, and has a highly water-absorbing-quick dryable property. SOLUTION: This atmospheric pressure cation-dyeable polyester multifilament is characterized by using a polyester prepared by depolymerizing polyester wastes into a raw material monomer and then repolymerizing the monomer, comprising a metal sulfoisophthalate (A) and a specific compound (B) in the acid component under a condition simultaneously satisfying specific numerical expressions, and has a projection coefficient of 0.3-0.7, and 3-6 fin portions outward projected from a core portion of a filament cross section, in the cross section of the monofilament.
