PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a stable amount of emission from an emitter. SOLUTION: By heating a solid sample or a liquid sample, an object to be measured contained in a solid sample or a liquid sample is gasified, and a neutral vapor molecule is obtained, and by adhering metal ions emitted from the emitter having an oxidized surface to the neutral gas phase molecule, the neutral gas phase molecule is ionized, and mass spectroscopy is carried out. The solid sample or the liquid sample discharges a reducible gas by heating. Heating in order to gasify the object to be measured is carried out at a temperature lower than the vaporization temperature of the solid sample or the liquid sample, and higher than the gasification temperature of the object to be measured, and the oxidative gas is added to the emitter.
