PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor for obtaining high endurance and high image quality electrophotographic images by improving wear of the organic photoreceptor up to the same level as an amorphous silicon photoreceptor, and improving image flow and image blurring tend to generate under high temperature, high humidity or the like, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the photoreceptor and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the organic photoreceptor including at least a photosensitive layer on a conductive support and a protection layer thereon, the protection layer is formed by curing a composition including at least a chain polymerization compound having a charge transport structure by a chain polymerization compound having no charge transport structure, and metal oxide particles surface-processed with the chain polymerization compound having a surface processing group.
