PURPOSE: An ink composition for inkjet recording is provided to obtain excellent refill balance, to continuously discharge ink droplet for a long time using an inkjet recording apparatus, and to maintain the quality of an image even when the image is consecutively printed in an inkjet recording method. CONSTITUTION: An ink composition for inkjet recording comprises a surfactant including a benzophenone polyoxyethylene glycol-based compound which is marked by chemical formula 1, a coloring agent, and a solvent. In chemical formula 1, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, and R8 are hydrogen, halogen, a cyano group, an amino group, an alkyl group with C1-C20, an alkoxy group with C1-20, a heteroalkyl group with C1-20, an aryl group with C6-C30, or a heteroaryl group with C4-30.
