SERVER, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR AUTHENTICATING SETTLEMENT, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle with optionally selecting a desired content to be viewed using an existing small information terminal; to purchase a viewing right; and to view with a viewer's desiring receiving device.

SOLUTION: A settlement authentication server 30, with which a user of the small information terminal processes settlement for viewing the content with the receiving device by communications with the small information terminal, includes: a communication processing unit 301 and a settlement processing unit 304. The communication processing unit 301 transmits to the small information terminal the content information based on a content information request to which an identifier of the receiving device and an identifier of the content are given as arguments from the small information terminal. The settlement processing unit 304 processes settlement of the selected content based on the selection of the content and the request of settlement to which the identifier of the receiving device is given as an argument from the small information terminal having received the content information.
