<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp that achieves power saving, while maintaining an application rate to a fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The circular fluorescent lamp includes an arc tube of a circular shape with a radius of a tube shaft of a glass tube within a range of≥90 mm and≤180 mm, and a base attached to the arc tube while coupling ends of the glass tube. Mixture gas consisting of argon and krypton is sealed in the arc tube with a volume ratio of the krypton within a range of≥5% and less than 15%, and, if crossing points of a virtual plane made by peripheral edges of each end of the glass tube and tube axes of each end of the glass tube are X, Y, linear distance between the crossing points X, Y is D, and linear distances from each crossing point X, Y to each electrode end inside the arc tube is d1, d2, d1+d2+D is to be within a range of≥100 mm and≤150 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
