<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying apparatus capable of grouping a leading article such as a PET bottle without under any pressure of other PET bottles to be grouped. <P>SOLUTION: The article conveying apparatus includes a first conveyor 20 for conveying PET bottles PB to be arranged in a plurality of rows at the first speed V<SB>1</SB>, a second conveyor 30 in which the PET bottles to be conveyed by the first conveyor 20 are transferred, the PET bottles PB are conveyed at the second speed V<SB>2</SB>higher than the first speed V<SB>1</SB>, and the spacing of the PET bottles PB is expanded than that when the PET bottles are conveyed by the first conveyor 20, and a grouping means which is inserted for each four-set of PET bottles PB in the second conveyor 30, and moved in the conveying direction at the third speed V<SB>32</SB>higher than the second speed V<SB>2</SB>, and narrows the spacing in the conveying direction of the four PET bottles PB. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
