摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-translucency light guide plate, capable of uniformly dispersing the beam emitted from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 10 includes a substrate 12 and many reflecting fine particles 14. The substrate 12 is formed of thermoplastics, and the reflecting fine particles 14 distributed on the substrate 12, have an average particle size ranging from 0.1μm to 100μm, and reflect the incident beam from the light source 20. Each of the reflecting fine particles 14 includes a core 16 and a sheath layer 18. The core 16 is made of SiO<SB>2</SB>, and the sheath layer 18 is composed of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and has an average thickness of 1.5-2.5μm. The weight of the reflecting fine particles 14 is about 1% of the weight of the light guide plate 10. Since the reflecting fine particles 14 reflect the beam in respective directions, when the beam enters from the side surface or bottom surface of the light guide plate, the light guide plate 10 is formed as a surface light source with a uniform top surface, and is able to have beam diffusing function with an enhanced transmitting ratio for the light guide plate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
