<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system of rack-mounted information communication equipment effectively and economically meeting cooling requirements of the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a plurality of housings and at least one panel 56 which fills a gap between the housings for storing and cooling the electronic equipment. First parts of the housings hold the electronic equipment which generates heat, and second parts of the housings hold at least one cooling unit. At the first parts of the respective housings, gas is drawn from the surface of the equipment, and heat gas is generated by the equipment and emitted via backs of the housings. The housings and at least one panel laterally enclose a hot region 22 and are arranged and connected so as to regulate an opening of a top which allows the gas to vertically get out of the hot region. The backs of the first parts of the housings are arranged to be adjacent to the hot region so as to discharge the hot gas to the hot region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
