<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a lens of an imaging device installed in a direction of a vehicle body travelling direction side so that rains do not adhere during raining, and make it possible to continue photographing in a good visual field. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A protection structure of the imaging device mounts the lens 11 of the imaging device inside of the vehicle body of a hole 2 prepared on an outer plate 1 in the travelling direction side of the vehicle body, forms a space 7 by a cylinder body 19 between a peripheral edge 9 of the lens 11 of the imaging device and the hole 2, prepares a gas jet port 5 in the space 7 or prepares a container 8 in which a transparent plate 10 is fitted in an aperture unit 4 is provided inside of the vehicle body of the hole 2, prepares the lens 11 of the imaging device in a hollow space 18 formed by the container 8, forms a space 7 between the transparent plate 10 and the hole 2, and blows gas 6 which is outputted from a gas jet port 5 prepared in the space 7 to the lens 11 of the imaging device or the transparent plate 10.
