<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system capable of displaying the information of a caller in a transfer destination or a substitutional reply destination even in the case that the call is transferred which is substitutively responded by a telephone without being called and so forth, and allowing a smooth telephone response. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a transfer request operation from a shop telephone DA1 during a call to a customer telephone Y1 to another shop telephone DA2 is carried out, a terminal PA1 transmits transfer request information to a home server HS (11). The home server HS transmits the transfer instruction information to a relay device CA (12d), and transmits customer telephone data extracted from databases D1, D2 to a terminal PA2 corresponding to the terminal identification information of a transfer destination extracted from the databases D1, D2 (12c). When receiving the transfer instruction information, the relay device CA connects the customer telephone Y1 to the shop telephone DA2 of the transfer destination to make them communicate with each other (13).
