PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell capable of compensating a change in load signal in a heat transfer process accurately. SOLUTION: The load cell 3, which includes an elastic body 5 having strain inducing portions 11-14 for producing strains by a function of the load of an object 17 to be weighed, and a bridge circuit 30 for outputting a load signal in accordance with the load of the weighing object 17 on the basis of the strains produced in the strain inducing portions 11-14, includes: a temperature sensor 21 for detecting an upstream-side temperature of a heat transfer path in the elastic body 5; and a temperature sensor 22 for detecting a downstream-side temperature of the heat transfer path in the elastic body 5. Based on the temperatures detected by these temperature sensors 21 and 22, compensation operation is performed, to compensate the change in the load signal in the heat transfer process.
