<p>Provided are an axial gap motor wherein man-hours can be reduced without securing permanent magnets using an adhesive agent and wherein the permanent magnets can be reliably positioned on a rotor frame without displacement and play of the permanent magnets, and a method of manufacturing a rotor for the axial gap motor. The rotor (11) of an axial gap motor (10) is provided with: main magnet sections (41) which are magnetized in the rotation axis direction and are arranged in the circumferential direction at predetermined intervals; yoke sections (42) which consist of a layered body (71) formed by winding a tape-like electromagnetic steel sheet (60) and which are each arranged on each of both sides, in the rotation axis direction, of each of the main magnet sections (41); ribs (31) which are each provided between main magnet sections (41) adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and extend in the radial direction; an inner tube section (32) and an outer tube section (33) which are provided on the inner diameter side and the outer diameter side, respectively, of the ribs (31); and a rotor frame (30) which consists of a die-cast alloy. The main magnet sections (41) have, on the inner peripheral side thereof, grooves (41a) for preventing positional displacement of the main magnet sections (41).</p> |
