<p>Disclosed is an oily hair cosmetic comprising: (A) an ester compound of a dibasic acid, which is represented by general formula (1) [wherein R1 represents an alkylene group which may have a substituent having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; R2 and R3 independently represent an alkyl group which may have a substituent having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrogen or a methyl or ethyl group which may have a substituent; and m and n independently represent an inter of 0 to 4 and meet the requirement expressed by the formula m+n=1 (provided that such a case is excluded that both R2 and R3 represent an ethyl group and both m and n represent 1)]; and (B) one or more oils selected from the group consisting of a volatile oil, an ester oil, a hydrocarbon oil, an animal or plant oil and a silicone oil. The oily hair cosmetic has a high improving effect on damaged hair and excellent feeling upon use.</p>
