Reproducibility of the layout of an authentication object is improved. An input unit (1b) acquires a biological image generated by imaging a biological body being the authentication object by an imaging device (2), and outputs the biological image to a calculation unit (1c). When acquiring the biological image from the input unit (1b), the calculation unit (1c) calculates, on the basis of the acquired biological image and a registered image stored in a registered image storage unit (1a), a difference between the relative positions of the biological body with respect to the imaging device (2) when respectively acquiring the biological image and the registered image. An output unit (1d) outputs guidance information accelerating the reduction of the difference between the relative positions calculated by the calculation unit (1c).
