Disclosed are an inductive heating cooking device, a control method thereof, and a control program thereof, which are capable of instantly detecting the temperature of the bottom of a pan with no delay in temperature detection and of precisely maintaining a fixed temperature for a cooking container. The inductive heating cooking device is equipped with: a top plate (103) on which a cooking container is placed; a heating coil (104) that generates an induction field that heats the cooking container when high-frequency current is applied; an input unit (114) to which a command, which maintains the temperature of the cooking container at a constant temperature, is input; a control unit (105) that controls the high-frequency current applied to the heating coil, controlling the heating of the cooking container, and an infrared sensor (106) that detects, via the top plate, infrared energy emitted from the cooking container. In response to a command that is input to the input unit, the control unit (105) controls the high-frequency current applied to the heating coil based on the output of the infrared sensor such that the temperature of the cooking container is maintained at a constant temperature.
