<p>Provided is a method of performing deprotection of an organic compound with respect to a carboxylic acid protected by a tert-butyl ester, a hydroxy group protected by a silyl ether, and a carboxylic acid derivative by a simple operation in a high yield using a common reaction container and an easily available and relatively inexpensive reagent without performing a post-treatment entailing condensation during the reaction. In the method, at least one Lewis acid selected from aluminum halides and iron(III) halides and a protonic acid are allowed to act on an organic compound having a carboxylic acid protected by a tert-butyl ester, a hydroxy group protected by a silyl ether, and a carboxylic acid derivative in the same molecule.</p> |
