<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing with a heat-sensitive lithographic printing plate which is almost free from plate smudge without image decolorization which occurs when a printing matrix treatment is applied to an imaging layer, and also, without impeding the smooth spread of ink during starting the printing of an image part. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive lithographic printing plate with the imaging layer containing at least, a thermoplastic resin, a water-soluble polymer compound, a developer and a coupler, formed on a water-resistant support, is heated or irradiated with light to the image pattern. Consequently, an image part is formed, and before the start of printing, the printing matrix treatment containing the following chemical compounds (i) and (ii) is applied to the printing matrix and a printing is made; (i) inorganic fine particle and (ii) a polyol compound with a boiling point of not less than 180°C and the number of carbon atoms of not more than 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
