<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform accounting according to an operation time of equipment such as an air conditioner and the verification of the accounting while easily coping with a change of the charge system. <P>SOLUTION: In an overtime operation management method, a day when the air conditioner is operated (the next day) is made to be a management object day, and 24 hours of one day among the management object days are divided into time sections (minute sections) by minutes. Operation classifications ("0" for stop, "1" for within-core-time operation, "5" for overtime operation by a normal charge, "6" for overtime operation by a premium charge) which indicate operation states of the air conditioner in the minute sections are assigned to the respective minute sections based on a time (early time, extension time) designated by the application of core time and overtime operation.
