IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an approver to approve that document data are used by a user when the document data are stored in a storage area individually assigned to a user in an image forming apparatus such as multifunction equipment or an MFP.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a storage part 15 having a plurality of storage areas (BOX1, BOX2); a data input part 21 for inputting document data; a storage processing part 25 for storing the input document data in the BOX1 assigned to a first user and the BOX2 assigned to the second user; and an access control part 26 for controlling access to each of document data 69a stored in the BOX1 and document data 69b stored in the BOX2. The access control part 26 permits an operation by a first user to the document data 69a after an operation by a second user to the document 69b is performed.
