<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of easily receiving e-mail and confirming the contents. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile telephone set 1 includes: a communication processing portion 41 for performing response processing to an incoming call on the basis of input to an operation portion 11; a voice processing portion 43 for converting text data of the e-mail received in the communication processing portion 41 to voice data; and a CPU 49 for executing control so as to perform reporting similarly to that at the time of an incoming call by a reporting portion when the e-mail is received in the communication processing portion 41 and output the voice data converted by the voice processing portion 43 by a speaker 22 on the basis of input from the operation portion 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
