DICE DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING LOW WIND-NOISE SNOW RESISTANT ELECTRIC WIRE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LOW WIND-NOISE SNOW RESISTANT ELECTRIC WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dice device for manufacturing a low wind-noise snow resistant electric wire by forming a snow resistant ring by a resin molding on a low wind-noise wire having a spiral projection.

SOLUTION: The dice device includes a pair of half-cut dice 13 having an inner circumference of semi-circular shape for molding the outer circumference of a snow resistant ring and a pair of die holders 15 which hold these half-cut dice by a half each. The die holder 15 includes a shutter mechanism 19 having a number of shutter pieces 21 which can advance or retreat toward the low wind-noise wire 1 at a portion corresponding to the outside of both end faces of the half-cut dice 13. By advancing the shutter pieces 21 of this shutter mechanism and making the tip of the shutter pieces 21 contact the outer circumference of the low wind-noise wire 1, and while preventing the leakage of the resin injected into the half-cut dice 13, the snow resistant ring is molded.
