PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can switch an electric characteristic appropriately in accordance with a required specification. SOLUTION: This semiconductor device 101 includes a plurality of semiconductor switch elements 11 and 12 in which a switching loss and a saturation voltage loss are mutually different, a selection driving part 51 for selecting either of the plurality of semiconductor switch elements 11 and 12 to drive the selected semiconductor switch element, and a case K for containing the plurality of semiconductor switch elements 11 and 12 and the selection driving part 51.
