The analyzing device detects whether an engine bonnet is opened or not. A controlling and/or regulating device (14) is designed in such a manner that consumption-reducing actions of a generator management system (16) are inoperable when external starting scenario is detected by the analyzing device. The analyzing device and the regulating device are connected with a generator (12) and a motor (13) over electrical conductors.
