A fiber optic enclosure assembly (200) includes an enclosure (202) having a base (214) and a cover (216) connected to the base. The base and the cover cooperate to define an interior region (266). The enclosure includes a tray- mount (552) disposed in the interior region. A plurality of fiber optic cable ports(226) is mounted to the enclosure. A tray stack(500) is mounted within the interior region of the enclosure. The tray stack includes a tray mounting plate assembly (501) that is pivotally connected to the tray mount of the enclosure. The tray mounting plate assembly (501) includes a tray mounting plate (502) and a detent that engages the tray mount to selectively retain the tray stack (500) in an opening position and a closed position. The tray stack further includes a plurality of trays mounted to the tray mounting plate.
