PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a glass window for a portable terminal is provided to use a protective film for improving the yield and the processing efficiency of the glass window. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass window for a portable terminal comprises the following steps: laminating a protective film on both sides of a glass material plate(S30); patterning a window pattern on the plate; engraving the protective film on both sides of the plate using a laser beam along to the window pattern(S40,S50); and cutting the plate into plural window pattern members using a sand blast method.
