<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solar battery module which has a structure preventing easily panel drop off from a frame and a rail material, allows an increase in light receiving surface and further suppresses a decrease in generating efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a surface side of the panel 10, a clamp member (frame 5) includes a plurality of overhangs 5g, 5h which cover a part of region in which thin film unit cells C1-C11 are formed and locally project from the periphery of a substrate. An effective light receiving area of the thin film unit cells C1, C11 shaded by any one of the overhangs 5g, 5h is more than or equivalent to an effective light receiving area of the other thin film unit cells C1-C10 not shaded by the overhangs 5g, 5h.
