PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of sets (number of sheets) to be loaded on a discharge tray, if additional paper or paper bundles are further loadable after the discharge tray is detected to be full, without increasing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The paper post-processing device includes: an introducing path 1 introducing paper; carrying paths 2, 3 carrying the paper; paper loading means 4 stacking the paper after discharging the paper; and full state detecting means 5, 6, 7 detecting the full state of the paper on the paper loading means. This device fills the paper loading means after further discharging a predetermined additional number of sets, after detecting the full state of the paper by the full state detecting means, on the assumption of a paper post-processing device B provided with at least either one of paper stitching means 10 for stitching a plurality of sheets of paper or paper folding means for folding paper.
